The Damascus Citadel, which holds great archaeological value, has transformed into a wedding hall. This decision has led many people to criticize the rental of such a significant historical site for personal purposes. Others saw the wedding as an opportunity to support the public treasury and the local economy. It employed hundreds of people and companies, from sound and lighting engineers to restaurant workers and companies that contributed to the event’s design, showcasing Syria in a beautiful light.

It’s not the first time!

We shouldn’t forget that this wedding isn’t the first wedding to take place in a historic site. Last July, a wedding was held in Khan Asaad Pasha in Damascus, and it also caused a big stir.

Ultimately, the wedding became a widespread topic in Damascus, with everyone viewing it from their own perspective. What are your thoughts?
